Worship Wednesday – You Are More {Tenth Avenue North}

One of aspects of the Christian faith that I’ve really tried to embrace is the idea of Grace. I know I have tendency to be extremely hard on myself.

When I first heard this song, I was in one a low place. I was frustrated by the way things were going in my life and felt that if I had made different decisions earlier in life, maybe life would be better.

This song came on the radio on my way to work and as I listened tears streamed down my face.

“You Are More Than The Choices Than You’ve Made”

Those words hit me and hit me hard and still have that effect on me every time I hear this song.

Worship Wednesday – Me Without You {Toby Mac}

I got help from Brooke again this week. One of her favorites is this video and it gets her excited and dancing every time she hears it. She’s familiar with it from her large group worship at church and I love that they get kids excited to worship and praise Jesus through these songs. Being able to share it with her when we hear it on the radio makes it that much better.

Personally, this song speaks to me as someone still new in their walk with the Lord. I like the reminder of what having a relationship with Him brings me and what I would be missing without Him in my life.

Enjoy!!

Worship Wednesday – Day One {Matthew West}

They won’t always be Matthew West songs – I promise! This just happens to be my favorite song right now. I feel such great comfort in the fact that tomorrow is a new day. The mistakes I may have made will be washed clean and I get to start again when the sun rises. Add in a great beat and great hook and it’s a song I always make a point to stop and listen to!

While I was searching for a video for this song, I found a clip of Matthew West sharing the story of this song and thought it would be fun to leave here too!

And here’s the lyric video:
